Join Spark Movement Collective for a free children's workshop on Thursday, April 20th as the company prepares for our upcoming show, The Not-So-Princess and the Pea. Children will learn movement from the show and take part in the creative process. The story will be revealed to the students as the workshop progresses, and the teachers will encourage the students to make observations and empower them to investigate potential outcomes for the story as it unfolds. We will also discuss sign language and how it will be incorporated in our show.

Spark is pleased to make this workshop available to young dancers for free, however RSVPs are required. Please complete the "purchase" process to reserve a space for your young dancer(s).

This workshop is hosted by Spark Movement Collective at the Joffrey Ballet School's Long Island City studio space (not Manhattan). Please arrive by 6:00pm to check in so that the workshop may begin ly at 6:15 and end by 7:15. We kindly ask all participants and guardians to wear masks.
